When golf pro and long-time Falmouth resident Glenn Kelly is not on the course this summer, chances are he will be out helping the Tom Keyes for State Senate Campaign. Kelly has agreed to be a Falmouth coordinator for Keyes.
Mr. Kelly is the Head Professional at the Woods Hole Golf Club since 1986 and earned his Class A Status in 1988. He is a former Falmouth Republican Town Committee Chairman and two time delegate to the GOP National Convention. He was Cape Cod Coordinator for presidential campaigns in 1992 and 1996 and has strong roots in the Falmouth community.
As Precinct Captain, Mr. Kelly will help coordinate field operations in the area and introduce Tom around the district.
“I am thrilled Tom is running,” said Kelly. “We have had a string of weak candidates running for this seat, but to finally have someone like Tom is really exciting. Tom is a former selectman, a small business owner and a long-time Cape resident. He knows how towns are hurting and is passionate about going to Beacon Hill to shake things up. The guy is an ethics and compliance officer who wants to clean up a corrupt State House and change the way government works. We need that kind of passion, expertise and new blood.”
Tom Keyes is the Republican candidate for State Senate in the Plymouth and Barnstable District. He is running against incumbent, Senate President Therese Murray. For more information on Tom Keyes or volunteering for the campaign visit www.votekeyes.com.
